LS-1 Halogen Light Source; The LS-1 light source is a general-purpose white light source, optimal for use in VIS-NIR (360-2000 nm). In a compact, economical package, the bulb provides high color temperature, high-efficiency output and long life. The LS-1 halogen light source can be a 900-hour, 3100K bulb or a 10000-hour, 2800K bulb.; The LS-1 has an SMA905 connector, through which it is easy to connect to Ocean Optics fiber optic spectrometers and accessories, including fibers, cuvette holders and probes.; LS-1 Features; ・ VIS-NIR spectral range (360-2000 nm). Suitable for chemical analysis, solid target reflection and color temperature.; ・ High color temperature, effective output; ・ Color corrector and signal attenuation accessories are available for the user to control the operating light source output.; ・ 900-hour or 10000-hour bulb; The LS-1 comes with a 1/2" OD BG-34 filter for color correction, and an attenuator for attenuating the light source output. The LS-1 comes with a 12VDC power supply (also available as a European power supply) and power cord.; The LS-1 halogen light source has an SMA905 connector, through which it is easy to connect to Ocean Optics fiber optic spectrometers and accessories, including fibers, cuvette holders and probes. Moreover, the built-in slot allows a filter thickness of 3 mm. The LS-1 can be mounted together with the spectrometer and other equipment in a multi-device rack unit or desktop box; The LS-1 has two accessories for specific measurements. The 1/2" OD BG-34 filter can be installed on the light source to enhance the signal in the blue region relative to the red region and the NIR region (see the first paragraph below).
