LDLS Laser-Driven Light Source EQ-99FC
LDLS^TM Laser Driven Light Source; EQ-99FC: compact, high optical power, long life, broadband light source, fiber-coupled output; In the fields of life sciences and materials science, the light sources used by researchers need to have extremely high light intensity output capability over a broad spectral range, for imaging and spectral analysis. Traditional hybrid light sources (such as tungsten halogen lamps, xenon lamps, deuterium lamps, etc.) can already achieve broadband output, but these hybrid light sources are not only costly and low in optical efficiency, but also use electrical drive, which prevents them from achieving high light intensity and high optical power output, thus failing to meet the requirements of some special research. In addition, traditional electrically driven light sources have short lifetimes, require frequent replacement, and their light intensity output continuously declines over their service life. To solve this problem, a revolutionary single-light-source technology was developed, namely LDLS (Laser Driven Light Sources). It can output extremely high light intensity over the spectral range from 170 nm to near-infrared, and its lifetime far exceeds that of traditional light sources.;The LDLS EQ-99FC integrates a collection system, making fiber connection in applications easier. The high-performance elliptical collector ensures ultra-high light intensity and voltage stability, thereby maintaining broadband collection (170 nm–2100 nm) and effectively coupling to small-diameter fibers. Electrode-less operation and the patented laser driven light source technology enable the EQ-99FC to meet various applications requiring ultra-long bulb life.;Features, Benefits;• Simple SMA fiber-coupled output;• High-power, high-performance elliptical collector;• High light intensity across the full spectrum;-UV-VIS-NIR (170 nm-2100 nm);• No hybrid light sources needed (replaces deuterium lamps, xenon lamps, tungsten halogen lamps, arc lamps);-Simple optical system covering multiple wavelengths;• Excellent short-term and long-term optical power stability;-Enables repeatable measurements;• No electrode components needed for long periods;-Reduces consumable costs;-Minimal instrument calibration;• Spectral output from 170 nm to 2100 nm;• Bulb life: greater than 5,000 hours;• Broadband light output via SMA connector, NA=0.22;• Multiple DUV-compatible fibers;Physical properties:;System dimensions (H×W×D);Weight;Bulb;82.3 x 85.7 x 76.2 mm (3.2 x 3.4 x 3.0 in);0.7 kg (1.5 lbs);Driver;139.8 x 107.8 x 254.0 mm (5.5 x 4.2 x 10.0 in);2.2 kg (5.0 lbs);Usage requirements:;Power supply;100-240v 50/60Hz 2.5A;Cooling;room temperature, no refrigeration required;Nitrogen;optional nitrogen purge Grade 6 for deep UV applications;Accessories;CE Mark Class 1 Laser Product
