LDLS Laser-Driven Light Source EQ-1500
LDLS^TM Laser Driven Light Source EQ-1500: High intensity, long life, broad spectrum light source. In the fields of life sciences and materials science, the light sources used by researchers need to have extremely high intensity output capability over a broad spectral range for imaging and spectral analysis. Traditional hybrid light sources (such as tungsten halogen lamps, xenon lamps, deuterium lamps, etc.) can already achieve broad spectrum output, but these hybrid light sources are not only costly and low in optical efficiency, but also use electric drive which prevents them from achieving high intensity and high optical power output, thus unable to meet the requirements of some special research. In addition, traditional electrically driven light sources have short lifespans, require frequent replacement, and their intensity output also continuously declines over their service life. To solve this problem, a revolutionary single light source technology was developed, namely LDLS (Laser Driven Light Sources). It can output extremely high intensity in the spectral range from 170nm to near infrared, and its lifespan far exceeds that of traditional light sources. The advantages of LDLS technology are fully embodied in the EQ-1500, a light source with high intensity, high stability, and broad spectrum output, specifically designed for imaging research and spectral analysis. The EQ-1500 possesses excellent spatial stability and optical power stability, capable of handling broad spectrum analytical measurements with extremely high repeatability requirements, providing instruments with optimized coupled plasma direct imaging capability. With a patented laser driven bulb, for applications with extremely high light source lifespan requirements, the EQ-1500 is undoubtedly the most ideal choice. Features, Advantages • CW laser (continuous wave laser) plasma ignition • High intensity across the full spectrum -UV-VIS-NIR (170nm-2100nm) • No need for hybrid light sources (replaces deuterium lamps, xenon lamps, tungsten halogen lamps, arc lamps) -Simple optical system, covering multiple wavelengths • Excellent spatial stability -Achieves repeatable measurements • Excellent short-term, long-term optical power stability -Achieves repeatable measurements • No electrode accessories required -Reduces consumable costs -Minimal correction to instruments. Applications • UV-VIS spectral analysis • Photoemission electron microscopy • Circular dichroism spectroscopy • Atomic absorption spectroscopy • Materials characterization • Environmental analysis • Hyperspectral imaging • Gas phase measurement • Other advanced microscopy applications; LDLS^TM Laser Driven Light Source; EQ-1500: High intensity, long life, broad spectrum light source; In the fields of life sciences and materials science, the light sources used by researchers need to have extremely high intensity output capability over a broad spectral range for imaging and spectral analysis.
