400-700AR Anti-reflection Coating
When light travels from an optically thinner medium to an optically denser medium, the reflected light will have a half-wave loss. After coating the glass with an AR film, the luminosity difference between the reflected light from the rear surface and the reflected light from the front surface of the film is exactly half a wavelength, so the reflected light from the front and rear surfaces of the thin film cancel each other, which is equivalent to increasing the energy of the transmitted light. And by coating both sides of the glass simultaneously, the reflection effect on both sides of the glass can be reduced at the same time. Because AR glass uses magnetron sputtering coating technology, the sputtered substances are all transparent optical film systems formed by the movement of nanometer-level atoms. From the product one can clearly see that glass coated with an anti-reflection film is more transparent, while ordinary glass has an obvious reflection effect. The AR film has no effect on the physical properties of the glass itself, and also has a hardening effect, which protects the glass itself, with extremely strong adhesion. It can be regarded as having formed an integrated whole with the glass. The AR film is sometimes used on optical glass together with a waterproof and dustproof film, making it an ideal choice as window glass.
