Overview

Non-contact single/dual test cables are an advanced light test interconnection solution; they are designed to avoid physical contact between fiber-optic end-sides during signal transmission. Through the use of non-contact optical coupling mechanisms, the cable effectively prevented the wear and tear of the end, pollution damage and mechanical degradation that are common in traditional physical contact jump lines. The solution is designed for a high-cycle test environment in which frequent extraction operations significantly reduce the useful life of traditional test cables.
