Acousto-Optic & Electro-Optic Crystals
Acousto-optic & electro-optic crystals include LiNbO3 and LiTaO3. LiNbO3 crystals are conventionally Z-cut with gold coating on the X face; LiTaO3 is a widely used electro-optic crystal with excellent nonlinear optical and electro-optic properties and a high damage threshold.
