communication for zero-order waveplate
Compared with cemented true zero-order wave plates, zero-order wave plates for communication are just a piece of quartz, mainly used in the fiber-optic communication band. A 1/2 wave plate is about 91 microns thick, zero-order, and is used to rotate the polarization state; most 1/4 wave plates are 1st-order, i.e., 3/4 wave plates, about 137 microns thick, and are used to convert linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light. These wave plates are very thin, ensuring the best temperature bandwidth, angle bandwidth and wavelength bandwidth. We can customize wave plates of various sizes according to customer requirements. ★ High damage threshold ★ Large temperature bandwidth ★ Large wavelength bandwidth ★ Large acceptance angle ★ Thickness >0.04mm ★ RoHS compliant
