Zero-Expansion Glass-Ceramic
Zero-expansion glass-ceramics refer to glass-ceramics with β-quartz solid solution as the main crystal phase, formed by strictly controlled crystallization of glass whose main components are Li2O, Al2O3 and SiO2. The company can supply LW1 zero-expansion glass-ceramics. This glass has excellent properties such as high mechanical strength, good thermal expansion and thermal shock resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, low dielectric loss and good electrical insulation, making it the preferred material for precision optical components such as laser gyroscope cavities, astronomical telescope mirror blanks, astronomical spectrographs and radomes.
