Radiation-Proof Glass
Radiation protection glass refers to special glass with the function of shielding radioactive rays such as X-rays and γ-rays. Radiation protection glass is generally high-lead glass, mainly used in situations requiring radiation protection and ray shielding, such as protective appliances or observation windows for radiological medicine, and observation windows for the nuclear industry. By use, radiation protection glass can be divided into two types: one is protective glass plates for visible image transmission, and the other is protective glass plates for observation. The two have quite different quality requirements for the protective glass: protective glass for visible image transmission needs specified shielding capability and high optical quality, while protective glass for observation mainly needs to meet the specified shielding capability, with optical quality only needing not to affect visual observation. The company can supply ZF2, ZF3, ZF6, ZF7, ZF7L, ZF13, ZF52 and other radiation protection glass with different lead equivalents. Radiation Protection Glass

| Technical Information | Lead equivalent: the main indicator of the shielding capability of lead glass; it is the ratio of the thickness of a lead sheet having the same absorption capability for 60Co gamma rays to the thickness of the lead glass. Irradiation stability: the difference in white light transmittance of 1 cm thick glass before and after irradiation with the specified dose. |
