Magnesium Fluoride Crystal
MgF2: magnesium fluoride (MgF2) crystal belongs to the tetragonal crystal system, with a melting point of 1255℃. It has high hardness, good mechanical properties, stable chemical properties, and is not prone to deliquescence and corrosion. It has high transmittance in the vacuum ultraviolet band (transmittance at 120nm is still above 50%), and is suitable as windows, focusing lenses, etc. for deep ultraviolet and excimer lasers. As a tetragonal birefringent crystal, it is widely used in optical communication, waveplates and other optical elements.; Magnesium fluoride crystal grown by the Czochralski (CZ) method Magnesium fluoride coating material has a complete lattice without defects, good crystal orientation, low stress, and higher vacuum ultraviolet transmittance.
