Progressive Addition Lens Design Progressive addition lenses (PAL) are advanced optical products that provide presbyopic wearers with continuously clear vision from distance to near. The lens surface curvature varies progressively according to a specific algorithm, forming functional zones of a distance zone, progressive corridor, near zone and peripheral astigmatic zone. Zizaichuanshang Optics provides complete progressive lens design and production support services: based on the wearer's prescription (sphere, cylinder, axis, addition) and personalized parameters (pupillary distance, frame tilt angle, vertex distance, etc.), it optimizes and generates freeform design files and outputs them to CNC polishing equipment for processing. Our design algorithm introduces dynamic optimization strategies on the basis of the traditional Minkwitz model, balancing astigmatism distribution and corridor width, so that wearers' vision transitions naturally and smoothly with significantly reduced peripheral swimming sensation. Polyurethane with a refractive index of no less than 1.60 or high-transmittance resin materials are used, combined with hardened coatings and blue-light-blocking and UV protection functions to comprehensively improve the wearing experience. For ophthalmic hospitals, optometry centers or high-end eyewear customization stores, we provide complete digital solutions from refraction data to lens processing, supporting small-batch, multi-specification flexible production, making every pair of progressive addition glasses a precisely fitted 'private customization'.
