Corneal Observation Lenses Corneal observation lenses are used in ophthalmic diagnostic equipment such as slit lamps, specular microscopes and corneal topographers to achieve high-definition imaging of the corneal layers. Our lenses use an infinity-corrected optical system paired with high numerical aperture objectives (NA≥0.75), clearly resolving the corneal epithelium, Bowman's layer, stroma, Descemet's membrane and endothelium, providing a reliable basis for the early diagnosis of keratitis, corneal dystrophy, keratoconus and other diseases. For the difficulty of corneal endothelial cell observation (cells are transparent with extremely low contrast), we have optimized the dark-field and phase contrast imaging modes of the illumination path, improving the contrast of cell boundaries. Equipment equipped with these lenses is widely used in ophthalmology departments of hospitals above Class B and physical examination centers, achieving rapid, non-invasive corneal health assessment.
