The K878BA5RN-90.00W from BWT is an 878.6nm, 90W high power wavelength-stabilized semiconductor (diode) laser in a compact fiber-coupled package. It delivers a minimum fiber output power of 90W through a 200µm/400µm core, 0.22 NA multimode fiber terminated with an SMA905 connector. Thanks to wavelength-stabilization technology, the laser achieves a narrow spectral width of 0.5nm (FWHM) and a low wavelength temperature drift of 0.03nm/°C, ensuring precise matching with the absorption band of solid-state gain media. The module offers a high electro-optical conversion efficiency of 50%, a slope efficiency of 9W/A, and integrates an anti-reflection design with 30dB isolation in the 1020~1200nm band to protect the chip from back-reflected light. The gold-plated package (approx. 80mm×48mm×16mm) features a 6-pin configuration with optional thermistor pins for temperature monitoring, and is designed for operation at 20~30°C base-plate temperature. All specifications are tested at 90W output and 25°C.
