635nm 5W Fiber Coupled Semiconductor Laser (K635FA5FN-5.000W)
The K635FA5FN-5.000W is a 635nm 5W fiber-coupled semiconductor laser module from BWT. It delivers a minimum of 5W output power from a 105μm core, 0.22NA multimode fiber with a 2m fiber length and a 0.9mm protective jacket, terminated with an FF bare ferrule or SMA905 connector. The module operates at a typical current of 1.5A and a typical voltage of 14.5V, with a typical electro-optical efficiency of 20% and a slope efficiency of 5W/A. A 10kΩ±3% thermistor and a monitor photodiode (PD, 50~600μA) are integrated for real-time temperature sensing and output power monitoring. Housed in a compact gold-plated 6-pin package with mounting flanges, the laser is designed for stable operation at 15~35°C with proper heat dissipation, and is widely used in indication/pointing light, medical and scientific research applications.
