MTF-VOA
The MTF-VOA is an integrated optical component that combines a variable optical attenuator (VOA) and a tunable optical filter based on Santec's proprietary electrostatic MEMS technology. It enables independent control of the transmission center wavelength over a variable range of approximately 40nm and optical attenuation of up to 35dB. By integrating the two functions of a variable optical attenuator and a tunable optical filter into an ultra-compact package (7.5×5.5×3.5mm) with low-voltage drive, the MTF-VOA is ideal for next-generation small form factor (SFF) industry-standard optical transceivers such as QSFP-DD and CFP2-DCO, where miniaturization and low power consumption are critical requirements.
