Non-polarizing beamsplitter prism （NPBS）
The nonpolarizing beamsplitter cube uses a multilayer interference coating on a right-angle prism hypotenuse, then cements two prisms into a cube. P and S components have similar splitting characteristics at specified wavelengths and reflection/transmission ratios while retaining their polarization states. Antireflection coatings cover the four external faces. Custom options include: (1) dimensions, (2) optical materials, (3) high-precision pentaprisms and (4) coating designs.

A beamsplitter cube is made by cementing two precision right-angle prisms with a suitable interference coating on the hypotenuse. Coating absorption is minimal, and average transmission and reflection are close to 50%, although outputs are partly polarized. For polarization-sensitive applications, choose a polarizing beamsplitter (PBS) or nonpolarizing beamsplitter (NPBS) cube.
