1um High-Power Low-Insertion-Loss Compact Polarization-Maintaining Isolator MCPMMHI-1064-1-C-0-F-P9-10-B
A fiber isolator is a passive magneto-optical device that primarily uses the Faraday effect in a magneto-optical crystal to isolate reflected light, allowing light to travel in only one direction. It protects a light source from adverse effects of back reflections or signals. Back reflections can damage a laser or cause mode hopping, amplitude changes or frequency shifts. In high-power applications, they can also cause instability and power spikes. Mchlight isolators provide high isolation, low insertion loss and high power handling. Wavelength, power and fiber can be customized to user requirements. Applications include fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, laser communication, fiber sensing and scientific research.
