A fiber Faraday rotator mirror reflects light with a polarization direction orthogonal by 90° to the incident state of polarization (SOP). It offers low insertion loss, high return loss, a high signal-to-noise ratio, and good environmental stability and reliability. It minimizes polarization-state changes caused by thermal and mechanical disturbances in fiber, and is particularly effective for improving fiber amplifier, fiber laser and fiber interferometer performance.
