BDR1L Beam Scatterer
The beam diffuser is a common laser laboratory safety device that absorbs laser energy. Continuous-wave or pulsed laser light undergoes multiple scattering and absorption events, ultimately becoming heat. The beam entrance aperture is Ø17.2mm. Incident light strikes a conical surface and is scattered with very little returning stray light. Recommended for CW or pulsed lasers with power no greater than 10W.
