Collimation Lens
A collimating lens is an optical element specially used to convert divergent or convergent light into parallel light. Its core function is to 'regulate the direction of the optical path'—whether it is divergent light emitted by a point light source or convergent light starting from a focus, after passing through a collimating lens it can form parallel light. It is a key component for 'controlling optical path precision' in fields such as laser technology, spectral analysis and optical detection. The goal of a collimating lens is to 'eliminate the divergence/convergence characteristics of light', and its principle is based on the focal length characteristics of the lens. Collimating lenses include the following types: single-lens collimating lenses, multi-lens group collimating lenses, infrared collimating lenses, etc.
