Precision Optical Glass Achromatic Lens (Doublet)
An achromatic lens (doublet) consists of a positive low-refractive-index crown glass lens element and a negative quartz glass lens element cemented together. It can eliminate chromatic aberration at two widely separated wavelengths (usually in the blue and red regions of the spectrum) while significantly reducing spherical aberration and coma. VIS 0° and VIS-NIR coated versions are available.
