Borosilicate glass flats (thickness 0.5-100mm) Tip: Borosilicate 3.3 thermal-shock-resistant float flat glass (introduction to borosilicate glass product performance and specifications) — a truly versatile, widely used material! China is the third country capable of producing float borosilicate glass 3.3. Borosilicate 3.3 thermal-shock-resistant float flat glass (English name plat borosilicate glass 3.3, can replace SCHOTT's trademark borofloat® 3.3 and CORNING's trademark pyrex® 7740) is a flat glass produced by the float process, with sodium oxide (Na2O), boron oxide (B2O3) and silicon dioxide (SiO2) as basic components. This glass has a relatively high boron-silicon content: boron 12.5~13.5% and silicon 78~80% respectively. Hence this type of glass is called borosilicate glass. It belongs to the Pyrex class of borosilicate glass. Its characteristics are a small thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal stability, chemical stability and electrical properties, and therefore chemical erosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, good mechanical properties, high service temperature and high hardness; hence it is also called heat-resistant glass, thermal-shock-resistant glass, high-temperature-resistant glass, and is also a special fire-resistant glass. Applications

material! China is the third country that can produce float-process borosilicate glass 3.3. Borosilicate 3.3 thermal-shock-resistant float flat glass (English name: plat borosilicate glass 3.3, a substitute for SCHOTT's borofloat (R) 3.3 and CORNING's pyrex (R) 7740) is a flat glass produced by the float process with sodium oxide (Na2O), boron oxide (B2O3) and silicon dioxide (SiO2) as basic components.

Key Features

is its small coefficient of thermal expansion and good thermal stability, chemical stability, and electrical properties, giving it resistance to chemical corrosion and thermal shock, good mechanical properties, high operating temperature, and high hardness. It is therefore also known as heat-resistant glass, thermal-shock-resistant glass, and high-temperature glass, and is also a special fire-resistant glass. (More.......)
