CMS Cladding Mode Suppressed Photosensitive Fiber
The Coherent/Nufern CMS2-Clad Mode Supressed cladding-mode-suppressed photosensitive single-mode fiber has good cladding mode suppression characteristics of less than 0.1dB (30dB Grating). CMS2 fiber can be spliced to telecom single-mode fiber with low loss. For example, the splice loss with SMF-28 fiber is less than 0.1dB.
