PD12 Amplified Photodetector
PD12 is an amplified photodetector designed for use with optical systems featuring FC connections. It includes components such as photodiodes, transimpedance amplifiers, and frequency selection circuits, all housed in an aluminum enclosure. The FC interface ensures compatibility with fiber optic systems. The device features an SMA output interface and supports a maximum bandwidth of 1GHz. It is available in two spectral ranges: 400–1000nm and 1000–1700nm.

This is a family of precision-machined optomechanical mounting blocks used to fix and align miniature fiber optic components such as collimators, fiber arrays and ferrules. The blocks are made of aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish to suppress stray-light reflection and improve wear resistance. The series includes several configurations: blocks with circular counterbored holes and top set screws for locking cylindrical collimator tubes, blocks with rectangular slots, and blocks fitted with square metal sleeves (stainless steel / nickel-plated) for receiving MT-type ferrules or fiber array endcaps. The flat square base provides a stable reference surface for adhesive bonding or screw mounting onto optical sub-assemblies, making these blocks ideal for compact photonic module packaging.

The IPD is very compact and can be easily mounted on a PCB for system use. It delivers excellent optical properties, including a broad wavelength range covering the C- and L-band, low insertion loss, and high sensitivity. By integrating the tap and the photodetector into a single device, the IPD eliminates the need for a separate optical fiber coupler/splitter and photodetector, providing a simple, low-cost solution for optical power monitoring in DWDM and switching systems.
