Developed by RealLight (Beijing), the R7M high‑power diode laser module belongs to the AW multi‑functional laser product family. It is a fiber‑coupled composite laser source supporting single‑wavelength, dual‑wavelength or triple‑wavelength configurations. Up to three independent laser emitters can be integrated inside one compact unit, covering popular industrial and research wavelengths: 1940 nm, 1720 nm, 980 nm, 1470 nm, 808 nm and 1064 nm. It saves system‑building effort by replacing multiple discrete lasers for multi‑channel synchronous‑irradiation experiments.

The R7M features a plug‑and‑play fiber‑output design equipped with a standard SMA905 connector. Fiber core diameters of 200 μm or 400 μm are available with a fixed numerical aperture NA=0.22 for homogenized beam delivery. Built‑in auxiliary functions include visible aiming beam, fiber‑presence interlock switch, PD photodiode for power monitoring, RT thermistor for temperature sensing and a replaceable dust‑proof window for convenient maintenance.

According to the technical specifications, its maximum continuous‑wave output power reaches up to 30 W, with tight wavelength tolerance, narrow spectral bandwidth and low wavelength‑temperature drift coefficient. The well‑optimized thermal‑management system ensures stable power output under long‑duration operation, reduces heat accumulation inside laser chips and greatly improves long‑term operational reliability.

Key Features

  1. Homogenized Beam Profile: The optical fiber delivers flat‑top, uniform energy distribution without hot‑spots, suitable for large‑area irradiation.
  2. Superior Long‑term Power Stability: On‑board photodiode provides real‑time power feedback to minimize output drift during extended operation.
  3. High‑efficiency Heat Dissipation: Optimized thermal conduction structure rapidly removes waste heat and suppresses thermal‑lens distortion.
  4. Industrial‑grade Reliability: All components have passed temperature‑cycle aging tests, supporting 24/7 continuous industrial operation.
  5. Customizable Multi‑wavelength Combinations: Flexible single‑, dual‑ or triple‑wavelength configurations can be tailored for multi‑spectral research.

Typical Applications

  1. Spectroscopic Inspection: Multi‑wavelength synchronous sources for substance composition detection, optical sensing and absorption‑spectrum measurement.
  2. Biomedical Instruments: Photodynamic therapy, skin phototherapy and fluorescence excitation for biological samples.
  3. Material Analysis & Research: Photothermal experiments, material irradiation modification, photocatalysis and physic‑property characterization.
  4. Special Display & Illumination: Infrared supplementary lighting and custom illumination for laboratory environments.
  5. Laser Manufacturing: Material pre‑heating, laser‑assisted processing and surface pretreatment of plastics and metals.
