Zero-order waveplate
Astarphotonics offers zero-order, low-order and quartz multiple-order waveplates. A cemented zero-order waveplate consists of two multiple-order waveplates joined by cementing or optical contacting. Their thickness difference equals the thickness of a single true zero-order waveplate, and their fast axes are perpendicular. Zero-order waveplates produce zero-order phase retardation and outperform multiple-order waveplates, with broader bandwidth and lower sensitivity to temperature and wavelength changes.
