Cemented doublet lens
Cemented lenses minimize or eliminate chromatic aberration. Their achromatic design also helps minimize spherical aberration. Achromatic lenses suit applications such as fluorescence microscopy, image relays, inspection and spectroscopy. They are manufactured by cementing two or more elements together and can form smaller spots than singlet lenses.
