Single-mode MEMS-VOA
Xuhai Optoelectronics' single-mode MEMS variable optical attenuator uses a MEMS mirror to control input/output coupling and attenuate optical power. Normally open or normally closed Dark/Bright designs are available. It follows Telcordia 1221 and 1209 reliability standards and ROHS. Optimized integration of the MEMS chip, optics and package provides a smaller outline, low insertion loss, low wavelength-dependent and polarization-dependent loss, high repeatability and reliability. A distinctive design provides high short-term and long-term stability for precision test instruments.
