Fe:ZnSe
Fe:ZnSe crystals, also known as iron-doped zinc selenide crystals, are laser crystals with excellent overall performance. They are widely used in medical surgery, chemical detection, free-space communication, and gas tracing and analysis. They offer high efficiency at room temperature, availability in various doping concentrations, and a high absorption coefficient. Applications include mid-infrared optical parametric oscillators, 2800-3400 nm lasers and infrared (IR) missile countermeasure systems.
