Pulsed Intense-Light Straight-Tube 200J Ultraviolet Sterilization Lamp
PULSE UV SYSTEM: intense pulsed UV germicidal lamp and food sterilization. Lamplic Technology is China's earliest developer/manufacturer of pulsed UV systems and is among international technology leaders. The 200J straight-tube pulsed lamp emits a continuous broadband spectrum from deep UV to infrared, flashing several times per second with 100ns-2ms pulses. Modest input energy yields high peak power and high instantaneous energy. High efficiency has been demonstrated in medical sterilization, furniture/floor UV curing, sunlight simulation, food/beverage packaging sterilization and water treatment. Mercury UV problems versus pulsed UV solutions: Mercury-lamp limitations versus mercury-free operation; unsafe/unhealthy operation versus harmless inert gas; maintenance/disposal requirements versus no maintenance or disposal; polluting technology versus clean technology; inconsistent versus consistent UV disinfection. Mercury UV delivery varies with temperature, water flow, lamp age and fouling; pulsed UV gives stable, precise delivery at any temperature, any flow rate and any lamp age, without lamp fouling. High electrical costs versus low costs; continuous always-ON operation versus low-duty-cycle, usually-OFF operation with immediate shutdown; high average power consumption versus low average pulsed consumption. Operational limitations versus advantages: questionable versus reliable disinfection; dependence on electrical quality versus operation regardless of it; vulnerability to outages versus tolerance of sporadic power outages.
