The MTP(MPO) loopback patch cord (cassette type), also called an MTP(MPO) patch cord loopback device, threads both ends of a section of optical fiber into a single MTP(MPO) connector, so that the optical path is contained within the same connector, entering through some channels and exiting through several channels on the other side, thereby achieving a loopback function. The MTP(MPO) fiber loopback device provides an effective solution for testing the transmitting capability and receiving sensitivity of network equipment, especially the requirements of telecommunications and data communications.

Overview
