Gold/Silver/Aluminum-Coated Optical Mirrors
Metal mirrors have broadband, low-dispersion characteristics; over a very wide spectral range, their reflectivity is basically the same regardless of angle of incidence and polarization state. Reflection bands: aluminum 200nm~20μm, silver 400nm~20μm, gold 600nm~20μm; aluminum is the only low-cost metal covering UV to infrared, silver has the best reflectivity in the visible region, and gold has the highest infrared reflectivity and corrosion resistance.
