The OLP Optical Line Protection Card is designed to assist DWDM wavelength division systems in implementing optical layer protection solutions such as optical line 1+1/1:1 protection and optical wavelength 1+1/1:1 protection. It monitors the primary and backup routing optical paths in real time. In the event that the fiber core is blocked or its performance is degraded, the card automatically performs secure rearrangement between the main and standby fiber cores, guaranteeing that optical signals in the system line recover quickly. OLP technology completes the routing switch operation entirely at the optical layer, which has incomparable advantages over the protection of upper-layer services, making it the best solution to provide users with uninterrupted communication.
