Founded in August 1999, Hite Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was jointly established by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group and the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences on the basis of the National Engineering Research Center for Optoelectronic Devices, with a registered capital of 227 million RMB. It became a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group in 2014. The company focuses on R&D, production and sales of semiconductor laser devices and application products, possessing a complete process chain from device structure design to fiber coupling. It provides various packaged high-power semiconductor lasers and arrays, photodetectors, diode-pumped solid-state laser modules, laser test systems, etc., widely used in industrial, lighting, display and other fields. The company hosts the National Engineering Research Center for Optoelectronic Devices and a post-doctoral workstation, and undertakes multiple national-level scientific research projects.
