Core Optoelectronics is mainly engaged in the independent research and development of various industrial-grade high-end optical chips for optical communications and optical sensing, foreign tape-out production, domestic device packaging and demodulator equipment development, etc. The product series includes: DBR type and narrow linewidth ring type tunable laser type narrow-wave tunable and C-band, C+L band tunable laser chips and devices; tunable laser chips and optical modules with EA modulators; O-band and C-band SOA, SLED, Gain Chip chips and devices; various DFB laser chips and devices; and fully autonomous and controllable tunable laser scanning modules and demodulator modules, etc. In addition, SMIC has a complete butterfly packaging production line that can undertake various butterfly packaging foundry services.
