Temperature-Control Object Module TCOS1208A, TEC Cooling Module/Cooler, Compatible with All TCB Temperature-Control Boards
The temperature-controlled object module is the control board's load system, comprising copper plate, probe, TEC and heat dissipation. The probe measures plate temperature and the controller maintains the target. Users must normally choose a TEC, matching board and power supply, configure the load and communicate with a host to view/set parameters. Load assembly, TEC interfaces and probe installation are particularly difficult. TCOS1208A is a mature professional laser-company load system, corresponding to the red-circled portion of the diagram. It avoids user assembly, speeds application and validates temperature-control systems. M3 holes in the copper block allow some final controlled objects to mount directly for temperature regulation, greatly simplifying use.

The low-temperature cascade piston-type water chiller consists of two or more independent refrigeration cycles, referred to as high-temperature and low-temperature cycles. Different refrigerants are charged into each system. Medium-temperature refrigerants are generally used in the high-temperature cycle and low-temperature refrigerants in the low-temperature cycle. Each cycle can use single-stage or two-stage compression. A condenser-evaporator links the cycles, acting as the condenser for the low-temperature cycle and the evaporator for the high-temperature cycle. Evaporation of refrigerant in the high-temperature cycle condenses the refrigerant in the low-temperature cycle. The water-cooled frame-mounted chiller exchanges heat between water and refrigerant in a shell-and-tube evaporator.
