The TCB-NC thermoelectric cooler temperature control board includes a complete PID algorithm and continuous-output operation for control accuracy of 0.01 degrees. It supports the common 10k NTC sensor, optional PT100/PT1000 sensors, and multiple TEC configurations using DC power. TCB-NC is a smaller version of TCB-NE, with identical specifications in a more compact size.

The low-temperature cascade piston-type water chiller consists of two or more independent refrigeration cycles, referred to as high-temperature and low-temperature cycles. Different refrigerants are charged into each system. Medium-temperature refrigerants are generally used in the high-temperature cycle and low-temperature refrigerants in the low-temperature cycle. Each cycle can use single-stage or two-stage compression. A condenser-evaporator links the cycles, acting as the condenser for the low-temperature cycle and the evaporator for the high-temperature cycle. Evaporation of refrigerant in the high-temperature cycle condenses the refrigerant in the low-temperature cycle. Heat absorbed by the low-temperature cycle is transferred to the high-temperature refrigerant, which then releases it to the surrounding medium.

The water-cooled frame-mounted chiller exchanges heat between water and refrigerant in a shell-and-tube evaporator. The refrigerant absorbs the water's heat load to produce chilled water, then the compressor carries the heat to a shell-and-tube condenser. There, refrigerant transfers heat to water, which carries it through piping to an external cooling tower for dissipation.
