2um Band Pulse-Application Dispersion Compensation Fiber (SM2000D PM2000D)
The single-mode (SM2000D) fiber and polarization-maintaining (PM2000D) fiber launched by Coherent/Nufern are designed for dispersion compensation applications in the 2um band. Both the core glass composition design (the main factor of material dispersion) and the waveguide design (the main factor of waveguide dispersion) have been optimized to ensure that this fiber exhibits negative dispersion in the 2um wavelength range.
